01 A pump that is down
Mark it out of service when the shift opens.
- When opening the shift, tick Out of service on any nozzle that is not working.A nozzle that is down carries no crew and no reading.
- Put the crew on the working nozzles and choose Open shift.
02 Correcting an opening
When a meter does not read what the last shift closed on.
- While the shift is open, choose Edit on the nozzle.An open shift's crew and opening readings can still be corrected.
- Type the reading the meter really shows, and give the reason.The reading is marked “corrected” and the reason is kept.
03 Fuel that was not sold
A calibration or maintenance draw comes off the sale.
- Log the draw against its nozzle, with the litres and the type (for example Calibration).Those litres will not count as sold.
04 Close it
The draw is part of the meter movement.
- Choose Close shift, enter one reading per working nozzle, and choose Close shift & post sales.Sold litres are the meter movement less the draw, which shows separately as a non-sale draw.
05 Cash that did not balance
The difference lands on the attendant, not in thin air.
- A shift whose cash came to less (or more) than its sales shows the difference.
- Open the attendant's ledger to follow it.Every difference is carried per attendant until it is recovered or written off.
06 A reopened shift
Only the owner can reopen a closed shift, and the reason is kept.
- Open the shift's Activity to see it opened, closed, reopened with the owner's reason, and closed again — in time order.
