01 Your password
Change it any time; you need the current one.
- Open Account & security from the bottom of the menu.
- Under Change password, enter your current password, then the new one twice (at least 12 characters).
- Choose Update password.Your other devices stay signed in.
02 Two-factor sign-in
A code from your phone, on top of your password.
- Under two-factor authentication, choose Turn on 2FA, then Begin setup.Any authenticator app works: Google Authenticator, Authy or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Scan the QR code with the app (or type the key it shows), then choose I've added it.
- Save your backup codes — choose Download as a file and keep it private — then choose I've saved them.The codes are shown only once. They get you in if you lose your phone.
- Enter the code from the app and choose Turn on 2FA.From now on, signing in asks for a code.
03 Signing in with it
Password first, then the code.
- Sign in with your email and password as usual.
- When asked, enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app.Without the code, your account shows nothing — even if someone has your password.
Done. A strong password and two-factor sign-in. Open it in OCTYN.
