01 Ask a question
From any screen.
- Press Ctrl K, or choose Ask in the top bar.On a phone, it is the sparkle icon.
- Type your question — for example “Which outlet is holding the most cash right now?” — and press Enter.Or pick one from the list: your recent questions come first, then examples.
02 Read the answer
A sentence, the figures, and where they came from.
- Read the answer and the figures under it.Rows may link to the screen they came from.
- Open What was looked up to see which parts of the books were read.The answer is AI-written. Every number in it is in what was looked up — check the rows before acting on it.
03 Your earlier questions
Ask again with today's figures.
- Go to Anomaly Watch → Ask.
- Under Your earlier questions, choose one to ask it again.The last 20 are kept.
- To remove them, choose Clear history, then Tap again to clear all.This clears only your own questions.
04 What it can and cannot do
It reads your books, as you.
- Ask about cases, shorts, UPI and cash collections, cash on hand and deposits, nozzle sales, credit, stock variation, test litres, after-close edits and sales.It answers only about this business's books, and sees only what you are allowed to see.
- Keep each question under 300 characters.Each person can ask 50 questions a day.
- If you see AI Ask is an add-on, add it from Billing → Add-ons.It is free during your trial.
Done. Anyone who can open Anomaly Watch can ask; the answer never shows more than they may see. Open it in OCTYN.
